Objectives:

  • Participants will gain perspective on the many lines utilized in a hospital setting
  • Participants will learn how and what different lines are used for in a patients medical care
  • Participants will have an understanding the impact of different types of lines patients may have during therapy session.

Description:

Brief description of various lines, leads, drains, and different equipment encountered in the acute care setting. Discussion on how lines may or may not impact a therapy session as well as any precautions in regards to the lines.
